meet gabbie
In 2019, I launched Gabbie Albrecht Photography simply because I loved taking photos for people. But over time, I realized that what I wanted to create stretched beyond photography. I found myself helping friends and freelancing on websites, social media, design ideas, and messaging. Slowly, I began to see what I had been dreaming about for years - a space where all of that creative direction could live under one name.
Storytelling has always held a strong place in my life, especially through writing. I studied journalism and business in college, which gave me a foundation in both communication and strategy. I also grew up with my family’s business. That gave me the space to experiment with websites, social media posts, marketing ideas, and design layouts. It lit a spark in me that never really faded.
Over the past eight years, I’ve worked in marketing, branding, and content creation. Much of my work has happened behind the scenes, helping others bring their ideas to life. I’ve learned how to recognize the potential in someone’s story and how to shape it in a way that connects with the people they want to reach. It’s the kind of work I feel pulled toward and always return to.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hammocking by the lake with a book, hiking in the Adirondacks (28 of the 46 high peaks so far), spending time with friends after church, or dreaming about what’s next for this business and how I can help more people grow theirs.
